The Reserve Bank today left the Official Cash Rate (OCR) unchanged at 2.5 percent. Reserve Bank Governor Alan Bollard said: "The New Zealand economy, the recovery of the Common as expected and growth is forecast to pick up further by mid 2010." Commercial activity partner has a bit faster than expected recovered. Currently growth is highest in China, Australia and emerging countries in Asia, but is much more muted in other trading partners. At the same time, the risks surrounding the global outlook increased, although not to the extreme levels seen at the peak of the crisis.
